Mused after making an easy dessert. Buy some peach ice cream (my fav is UDF) and blackberries. Warm the blackberries in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. It creates juice and softens the berries. Pour berries over the ice cream.
Choosing a Health App
Health apps provide an avenue for self-improvement. There are popular apps for weight loss, fitness, tracking sleep, keeping track of your heart rate and many others. Having too many choices make it difficult to determine which may be best for you. Here are some guidelines.
Know your goals.
Get support services like your doctor, coach or nutritionist. Family and friends can be helpful too.
Keep it simple or you won’t use it.
Affordability. This includes any wearable devices and monthly fees.
Lastly, make sure the information is valid and the app has positive reviews.

Things to avoid:
More features than you need.
Excessively expensive wearables.
Complicated or difficult screens to navigate.
Poor research outcomes or negative review.

Greek Ratatouille:
Like many of my recipes, I take someone else’s and adapt it to whatever ingredients I have and my taste for a particular dish. I have finger eggplants from the garden and decided to mix them with other food from the fridge.
Sautee 5-6 chopped finger eggplants, an onion, a clove of garlic and a leek in olive oil. Add one 28-oz. can of tomatoes (preferably San Marzano) and cook until the vegetables are soft about 10 minutes. Add a tsp. of Calabrian chilis, 6-8 halved Greek olives, a few artichokes from a jar, a teaspoon of capers and cook for another 5-10 minutes to get the flavors melded. Add fresh basil right before serving. Good over fish or chicken also.
