Mused after reading that GLP-1s may slow the growth of certain cancers. A study by the Cleveland Clinic tracked more than 10,000 patients with early-stage cancers and found that the cancer was less likely to spread. MD Anderson Cancer Center looked at over 137,000 cancer patients and found more than 95% of GLP-1 users were alive at 5 years compared to 89.5% for nonusers. The mechanism is still unknown.

Egg White Bites by Ree Drummond
(I like to give you recipes that have a lot of flexibility in the ingredients.)
1 ¼ cup liquid egg whites
1 ¼ cup cottage cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Hot sauce to taste
½ cup grated white cheddar cheese or whatever kind you like
½ cup diced red bell pepper (or whatever vegetable, such as other bell peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, asparagus, etc.)
4 oz. precooked turkey sausage or again, chorizo, ham, bacon, etc., in small pieces
4 green onions, diced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 12-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Add egg whites, cottage cheese, S & P, and hot sauce to a blender and mix. In a separate bowl, combine the other ingredients. Divide these among the 12 cups. Pour egg mixture into each cup and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before removing from the pan.
