On Thursday December 1st we will begin our annual 12 Days of Christmas. FOR MOST YOU CAN EITHER CALL OR EMAIL- NO NEED TO COME IN!!! The specials are listed below so you can plan accordingly. They will also be emailed the day before to remind you. The specials are good ONLY on that day.

The 12 Days of Christmas
(Our Annual Specials to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season)
Day 1, Thursday, December 1: Double Stamp Day! Any skin care product or skincare service purchased today gets double the McKenna Rewards stamps. Twenty stamps give you a $50 savings.
Day 2, Friday, December 2: 10% off Vitamin C products: CE Ferulic, Phloretin CF, Phloretin CF Gel.
Day 3, Monday, December 5: Skin Peel 15% TCA for aging facial skin. Package of 3 $650, saving $50/treatment. Achieves 31% improvement in fine lines and 19% in pigmentation.
Day 4, Tuesday, December 6: Dermapen microneedling packages for pigmentation and loose skin of face, neck or chest, 20% off.
Day 5, Wednesday, December 7: New patients OR if you haven’t been in in over 5 years to skin care $49, half off normal price! Skin evaluation, micropeel and deluxe samples with visit.
Day 6, Thursday, December 8: 20% off DOSE skin care product. It mixes a unique formulation of SkinCeuticals ingredients that are professionally diagnosed to address the specific needs of your skin. The specific product comes after you answer a questionnaire about your skin, goals and needs. Each bottle is normally $195 and lasts roughly 3-4 months.
Day 7, Friday, December 9: CoolSculpting 1-4 treatments $600 each cycle, 5,6 and 7 cycles $500, 8 or more cycles $400. Cycles are each treatment at a specific area. Also, receive 20% off Body Tightening Concentrate (helps tighten and firm the appearance of skin) with Coolsculpting purchase.
Day 8, Monday, December 12: 20% off enhanced 90-minute skin care treatment includes dermaplane, glycolic or micropeel, brightening vitamin C mask, aromatherapy with steam, manual extractions, massage of face, neck, shoulders, decollate and hands. Normally, $175 today $140.
Day 9, Tuesday, December 13: A package of three skin micropeels for $235, normally $265. (Limit one per patient.)
Day 10, Wednesday, December 14: Cryotherapy or freezing of brown spots to remove them from your face or hand skin is $100 for the first three and $30 for each thereafter (normally $150 for the first three).
Day 11, Thursday, December 15: Gift Certificates, buy a $100 gift certificate for $80. This can be used for products and services except surgery.
Day 12, Friday, December 16: Laser hair removal is normally 20% off when 6 treatments are scheduled. For today only, take another 20% off the current price for 6 treatments. (We recommend 6 for best results.) Caveat, in all fairness, can’t use gift certificate from yesterday, sorry ;( .

Curried Carrot and Apple Soup
In a large saucepan, melt 4 Tbls. of butter. Add chopped: 1 onion, 1 leek, 1 fennel bulb, salt and pepper. Stir until softened, about 10 minutes. Add chopped: 2 lbs. carrots, 1 lb. celery root (or celery), 1 parsnip, 1 Granny Smith apple peeled, cored and chopped, 7 gingersnap cookies crumbled, 1 Tbls. curry powder, 3 crushed cloves of garlic, 1 tsp. grated ginger, 1 Tbls. thyme and cook until carrots and vegetables soften, about 10 minutes. Add 2 quarts chicken stock, bring to a boil then simmer until vegetables are very soft, about 30 minutes. Working in batches, puree the soup in a blender adding a total of one and a half cups of sour cream and 1 Tbls. of apple cider vinegar. Garnish with pumpkin seeds and sour cream.
I made this for Thanksgiving. Easier than it sounds. Most of the work is chopping. Tastes better the next day. Makes enough for up to 12.
