Mused after reading that NASA’s latest mission is figuring out how to keep time on the moon. Apparently, gravity affects time and 24 hours on the moon takes an extra 56 microseconds. Not important unless you are trying to make a lunar landing on a congested area. More lunar landings from many countries are expected. So, connecting lunar time exactly with earth time is what Coordinated Lunar Time is all about.

TATTOS MAY RAISE LYMPHOMA RISKS
Having a tattoo may increase your risk of developing lymphoma, type of white blood cell cancer.
A study, published in the June 2024 issue of eClinical Medicine, analyzed nearly 12,000 cases of lymphoma among Swedish adults ages 20-60 that were diagnosed between 2007 and 2017. After adjusting for other risk factors (familial traits, other cancers) the researchers found that tattooed participants had a 21% higher risk of lymphoma than their non-tattooed peers. The size of the tattoo did not increase the risk.

Tattoo ink often contains carcinogens, which may trigger an immune response according to authors. HOWEVER, the study was observational, meaning it couldn’t prove tattoos cause lymphoma-only that an association exists.

Shish Kabob meal
Grilling shish kabobs is another easy, light, summertime meal. I recommend getting the grilling baskets (Amazon.com) you can see above over using skewers. The food doesn’t fall off and this increases what food you can use. The four sides of the baskets make turning easier also.
Marinate chicken or fish in Italian salad dressing or a combination of soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and powdered ginger for about an hour before grilling. Chop your vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.) and fruits (pineapples, peaches and other stone fruits). Set grill to medium. Spray grilling basket with nonstick olive oil. Place meat or fish and fruits and vegetables into basket. Place on grill and rotate about every 3-5 minutes. When done serve on a plate with hummus or baba ghanoush. Enjoy with sauvignon blanc, non-oaky chardonnay or viognier.
