Mused after reading that 19 women received harmful injections from counterfeit Botox. WE have always used Allergan Botox. Remember when you don’t go to a board-certified physician to get your Botox or injectables, you run the risk of a fake product. HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU NEED TO QUIT DRINKING?
My father was an alcoholic.
He was that way when he met my mother when I was 10 but incurred the strength to stop drinking after “bottoming out” about 10 years later. He never had a drink again until he died 45 years later.
I’m sure many of you have similar stories or worse from friends and loved ones.
Dr. Robert Doyle, a psychiatrist at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital, says “a person who develops alcohol use disorder tends to be someone who, early on, is able to handle their alcohol…, but then they start to drink more and their body becomes accustomed to it.”

Signs that you may be drinking too much:
- You crave alcohol to feel relaxed.
- You drink alone
- Your job or relationships have suffered.
- You hide drinking.
- You drive after drinking.
- Your family tells you you’ve got a problem.
There are many sources to turn to if you feel like you may have a drinking problem. Start with your family doctor. The important thing is to not let it continue. Trust me, it’s a long way down.
