The Importance of a Daily Schedule from Lance Morrow, WSJ
It should include brain work, physical work and exercise.
If not doing your own work at home, start to learn something or read regularly. In fact, read aloud to the family.
Keep yourself and your home clean. Assign children chores. As a child, I dried the dishes nightly while my brother swept the floor.
Be not idle, be not alone. As I mentioned yesterday connecting is important. Use the phone, email, Skype or FaceTime.
Limit alcohol and avoid other substances.
Watch regular news but not obsessively.
Keep a journal of this extraordinary time.
And lastly, have faith. Prayer arises from a platform of humility and expresses purity of heart-vulnerability, fear, hope, and longing.
TO THIS I ADD: Make time for play; yourself, spouse, or family. It’s good for the heart.
