At the consultation appointment we strive to educate our new patient so as to enable them to make an informed decision regarding surgery. Initially you will meet with a patient coordinator to discuss the procedure of interest and be shown Dr. McKenna’s patient before & after photos. Next, Dr. McKenna will meet with you to discuss your goals and what options you may have. He will go over the advantages as well as limitations of the surgery. After taking a careful history, Dr. McKenna will the perform an examination to personalize aspects of the surgery for you. After finishing with questions, Dr. McKenna then directs his patient coordinator to write up a surgical cost analysis including surgeon, hospital and anesthesia fees. Financing can also be discussed. Finally the patient coordinator will check surgical dates & schedule your second consultation.
